Goldman Sachs: Americans will bear two-thirds of tarrif costs
From President Trumps Truth Social post on Goldman Sachs: "(Goldman Sachs) made a bad prediction a long time ago on both the Market repercussion and the Tariffs themselves, and they were wrong, just like they are wrong about so much else. I think that David Solomon, GS CEO) should go out and get himself a new Economist ..." Maybe Dr. McEntarfer, late of BLS, is available. -

Thai - Cambodia Conflict Ubon Ratchathani Airport Tightens Security Amid Border Tension
File photo In response to heightened tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border, Ubon Ratchathani Airport has implemented stringent security measures. Deputy Transport Minister Manaporn Charoensri announced the new protocols, including a ban on drones near the airport and an increase in security patrols. These directives were issued during the Minister's visit on Tuesday to assess the airport's progress towards becoming an international aviation hub in Northeast Thailand. Ubon Ratchathani province shares a border with Cambodia in the Nam Yuen and Nam Khun districts, a detail that underscores the importance of the heightened security. Danai Ruengsorn, director-general of the Department of Airports (DoA), highlighted the technological upgrades at the airport. A new video conferencing system now connects the airport to the DoA's central security monitoring. This ensures immediate military aid can be summoned if necessary, vital for situations requiring swift evacuations or crisis management. Ubon Ratchathani Airport, capable of managing 1,050 passengers per hour, services approximately 3 million travellers annually. Its runway, extending 3 kilometres, supports up to six flights each hour, while the aircraft aprons accommodate up to 230 planes carrying between 180 and 350 passengers daily. Presently, the airport hosts an average of nine domestic flights from Don Mueang Airport and two from Suvarnabhumi Airport. In a bid to further enhance security, the airport is acquiring a dual-view X-ray system, amongst other advanced security measures. These developments are part of a broader strategy to ensure passenger safety and secure the airport's role as a new international gateway, amidst rising regional uncertainties. Immigration Labour Faces Heat as Small Boat Migrant Crossings Hit 50,000
Well that's Thailand in big trouble then as they don't provide any benefits for non-citizens and routinely detain overstayers and illegal immigrants. Who is the supreme leader in charge of the planet who makes these laws so we can report Thailand for misbehaving?
