New queuing rule for Promenada Chiangmai

Featured Replies

for all immigration visit purposes. including visa extensions, the Promenada Chiang Mai has a new rule.

for safety purposes please do not arrive by POV.  to ensure your safety, all outdoor lighting is shut off and, as well, ****all**** of the parking structure entrances are now cordoned off until about 5 AM or so.  for those arriving on foot or drop off, you will get priority queuing for responsibly avoiding these safety issues.

there is an exception: those who arrive by POV and bring with them bolt cutting equipment may avail themselves of queuing up at any hour. you can then park your POV anywhere and after obtaining services with the same priority as everyone else, cut the chain the shopping mall security have placed around one of your tires for your POV's safety in the totally darkened driveways leading up to the mall at night.

POV means any privately operated vehicle such as a sedan, pickup truck or motorcycle... etc.

Seems reasonable. Walking alone across Chiang Mai at night would be much safer than driving to Promenade in your own vehicle, especially for a young single female.

Daft!!!
