February 22, 20179 yr I was at the Australian Embassy yesterday to get my Statutory Declaration notarized regarding income for my 12 month retirement extension. The lady at the counter asked did I have proof of the income as Thai Immigration might ask for proof as well as the Statutory Declaration. Last year they never asked for proof...just the letter/ Stat Dec and no where can I find proof being required as well as the Letter from my Embassy.....has anyone recently been asked for proof as well or is this a general try and scare away some from abusing this avenue. If needed I can show proof that I can have that amount of pension payment but would rather not go through the hassle of getting bank records and letters from Superannuation Pension provider etc if not needed. Again thanks for your help
