Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha on Friday made a field trip to a northeastern province of Si Sa Ket to track up progresses on collective large scale farming and holistic agricultural management with cooperation among public, private and people’s sectors following Pracha Rat’s scheme.

 

Prayut’s one-day trip included a meeting with locals, a briefing with Si Sa Ket governor, a visit at Baan Um-sang Rice Enterprise where organic Hom Mali rice is produced, and several exhibitions on holistic rice farming, urgent local water management, measures to support rice farmer via Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives and approaches to strengthen domestic economy.
