Couldn't agree more. Riding a motorcycle in Thailand is a death wish. Just look around you. I couldn't count on my hands and toes how many fatal motorcycle accidents I've seen over the last 10 years.

Is your innumeracy due to an injury sustained in a motorcycle crash?

10 fingers and 10 toes equals 20 digits.

In 10 years that equals only 2 fatal accidents per year.

If there are only 10 fatal bike accidents a day that is 36,500 in 10 years so for elektrified to see more than 20 in that period is not unusual.

That he could afford that much for a bike, but not for his own health.

Thats it, nothing to it.

Oh really? what a nonsense.

such a disrespectful comment without knowing the circumstances of the deceased.

basically, assuming things from the a.s.

I know of two people personally who both died in Pattaya due to lack of funds to be treated. Both were in their early 60's and had treatable conditions but were too embarassed to seek treatment as charity cases.

It's difficult to press the "like" button, sorry. Being a volunteering member of an organization I can tell you of people with a certain nationality who come to Thailand to end their lives.

Isn't it crazy that those who want to live have accidents, get seriously sick or get killed, while others are trying hard to end their lives?

I wish I would be allowed to tell more about the last 6 month, truly shocking. And I'm afraid that the number of people from so-called "civilized countries" who don't want to live anymore and come to a country like Thailand to end their lives, is increasing.

That, on the other hand, helps plenty of "loving barbeer wives" who help their husbands to get down the stairs, or maybe down the balcony not to get caught immensely.

And their plan to continue their lives with their local husbands can go on without any dumb investigations. It was a suicide, wasn't it?

Unfortunately, did only around 40 % of the suicides work out well. I mean in favor of those who wanted to die. Those who survived have/had a much worse life after their attempt.

It wasn't like that when I was young.

Thanks to Merkel & Co that they make/made certain counties unlivable with the tendency to destroy more and more of a nation that will also affect many other countries.

Did it occur to you that he might have had his bike for quite a while? I have had my Honda Phantom for 7 years and the Honda CB 400 for 4 years.

Now if you want to sell your bike for a fair price it might take some time or you may be able to sell your bike quickly but for a lot lower price which may not be enough for your needs.

So, in that case, what would YOU do?

I would make sure I took care of my health first.

Im selfish that way.

Did you not understands the guy's pint of view? BTW, did the poor guy have the Thai SS insurance that covers ALL expenses.

I'm not telling you that from any hearsay, I've got the SS as well and they've paid about 10 times more that I've paid in ( including my employers) within a time frame of 13 years.

What about switching your brain on before posting on a forum?

He had Thai SS, had a hospital where the doctors didn't find the problem, have you got an idea how that all works?

The guy's dead and he already went through hell before.

So please let his soul rest in peace and stop such bs., Thank you.
