Cambodian workers fall to death Thailand

Two Cambodian migrant workers plunged to their deaths on Friday after falling from a 39-story construction site in Thailand’s Nonthaburi province.  According to the National Police website, the victims were identified as Pheoun Sin and Moul Kosal, who were both 22. Police, however, have yet to determine the circumstances which led to their fall. 
 

“They plummeted off a 39-story condominium building to the ground and died instantly,” the statement on the website read.  Bun Sok Vibol, a Cambodian consular official in Thailand’s eastern Sa Kaeo province, could not be reached for comment yesterday. 
 

More than 1.15 million Cambodians were working abroad in 2016, including 1,056,358 in Thailand alone.  Many Cambodians are driven to work in neighboring countries, often as laborers or in factories, due to the entrenched poverty coupled with the lack of employment in the kingdom.

1 million Cambodians working in Thailand when i see hundreds and hundreds of Thai men sitting around doing nothing But its sad they died I bet work did not even stop for 1 minute on the site. Thailand is so lucky its unemployment rate is 1.5% lol thats why these workers are here
