Southern militants ambush school truck killing four, including a child

 

 

NARATHIWAT: -- Southern militants continued their violent attack on innocent people with the latest ambush on a school truck killing three adults, one child and seriously injuring two girl students.

 

The latest gruesome attack on civilians happened this morning in Rusor district of Narathiwat province.

 

Somchai Thongchan, an assistant village headman, was driving his pickup truck to deliver students to a village school when he came under a hail of gunfire from the southern militants hiding on roadside bushes.

 

Somchai, his wife and another woman and a boy student were killed instantly in the pickup truck.

 

The gunshots from assault rifles also hit and seriously injured two small girl students.

 

Sound of gunshots alerted residents and authorities nearby.

I hope that they get caught in a firefight, get shot in the gut and die slowly in excruciating pain.

 

Should they end up in paradise I hope that all their 72 virgins are at least 100 years old, ugly and infested with every disease known to the modern world.

The radical muslim cuts off the head of the infidel, while the moderate muslim merely holds the infidel,s feet ! A statement by an eminent politician many years ago !

The BRN controls virtually all the combatants on the ground.

 

The Government tried for a quick PR to show it's progressing on peace with insurgents and this attack is the predictable result. A year ago when a Thai official leaked to the local press that the two sides had agreed to designate Narathiwat’s Joh I Rong district as a “safety zone”, BRN combatants dispatched about 40 combatants to take over the district hospital and launched an assault on the Paramilitary Ranger camp next door. BRN wanted to send a stern warning to the government and MARA Patani of its capabilities. Warning ignored.

It also bothers me that when terrorism strikes in the USA the average Muslim says little. Their whole religion moderate or whatever is contrary to western thinking. Their attitude toward women is abominable child brides, circumcision of young girls, stoning of girls who fall in love outside of parental wishes and the list goes on and on. They are constantly trying to bring Sharia law into foreign countries that opened their doors for them.

 Its not about Muslims, do some resurch < they want there own attonamy, They dont want to be Thai or Malayan.

Really brave people huh? Open fire on a truck taking kids to school.

Whatever your cause, whatever your problem, whatever your perceived issue, nothing justifies this truly awful act.

You just can't give this sort of scum an inch, because all they deserve is to be eradicated, like the cockroaches they are.

This has been a popular belief but I've never seen any factual support.

For the sake of legitimacy can you please provide your source(s) to confirm such statistics? 

The basic problem with fact checking is that the Thai government controls news reporting about violence in the South. The military considers the insurgency an attack on Thai sovereignty and can/has used defamation lawsuits to stifle independent news reporting.

How about the former Yugoslavia, Bosnia. Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia? Do you think that ethnic cleansing worked well there?
