webfact Posted March 6, 2017 Share Posted March 6, 2017 Whale shark appears off Trang sea coast TRANG: -- A whale shark of 5-6 metres long was spotted in the sea off the southern coast of Trang province. It was the first time of the appearance of the whale shark off Koh Libong in the sea off Trang coast. The whale shark was spotted as officials of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and volunteers were driving to collect garbage at the bottom of the sea off Trang coast. The whale shark appeared to be friendly as it swam close to divers who were collecting garbages near the Kong Hinpao artificial coral reefs around the Koh Libong.
