Vietjet advises passengers to allow extra time for travel for flights via Suvarnabhumi Airport from March 3-May 5, when repair and maintenance work will be conducted on runway 01R/19L.

Vietjet cares for all passengers, has strong determination to keep providing on-time service and hopes that individual travel plans are affected as little as possible during the period.

Vietjet offers affordable, safe and convenient flights – three per day connecting Suvarnabhumi to Phuket, two per day connecting Suvarnabhumi to Chiang Mai and three per day between Phuket and Chiang Rai.

45 minutes to clear Swampy security and emigration at 0800 on Monday.  No flight delay for BA10.

What is it about the runway repair/construction that would require an earlier airline check-in?  If anything I would think flights might be delayed.  Does runway repair/construction affect the approach to the airport via highway and/or the check-in process in any way?
