Pratumnak drama as "overdosed" Thai woman threatens to jump

PATTAYA: -- Police and medics rushed to Pratumnak Soi 4 yesterday after reports that a Thai woman was threatening to jump from a balcony.

 

The woman believed that she was being chased and was trying to get away. The reality was that she had taken a few too many prescription drugs 77Jowo reported.

 

She was on the balcony as officials tried to calm her. But when they made a grab for her she left the balcony and started to climb without apparent fear of the danger.

 

But she managed to make it from the fourth floor down to street level by herself.

 

The drama happened yesterday afternoon at some flats above a pharmacy.

 

Miss Anisa Chaichanasaeng, 24, a native of Nong Bualamphu, was taken to hospital.

 

Her room was searched and police found tranquilizers. She is believed to have taken too many, they said.

 

The incident was captured on video with locals and tourists viewing the drama from the street.

Well, at least she could get down safely in the event that she was actually being chased.

Just another day in Pattaya.. it was live streamed on facebook with comments like 'the 4th floor won't kill her' etc.. 

Footage could be used as en educational video by the TAT for all those farrangs before falling off the balconies.

Maybe she should have taken some of those tranquilizers.

Not to worry. The cables will slow her down or bounce her right back up. Thais town/city plannig is far more advanced than that of the west. They prepared for this scenario by the looks of it.

Seems like a "Spider girl" in pink. Probably after taking drug, she feel like participating in a reality show ?

The fact that she can climb a building after tranquillisers is incredible, must have been a low dose and not an overdose. Tranqs will put you on your ass as that is the purpose of them, overdosing on them surely would result in a deep unconscious state.

I guess climbing those coconut trees back on the farm helped...

Too many tranquilizers and I would fall asleep. I think this reaction was to too many

Well at least she wasnt suicidal or it would have been over in a few seconds.
