Its happening because of the lockup of foreign funds. Basically your funds will be held hostage while they devalue the baht to protect the locals and the junta gives itslef a raise.

35.50 right now as cooler heads prevail.

I'm hoping this will actually produce the desired affect of the Baht weakening. I'd like to see it back up to 40 per USD.
