Ranong - Visa Ext based on Retirement

Newbie to Ranong  and due to apply for Visa Ext soon.  Any locals from Ranong who have recently applied?

 

I would appreciate hearing your experiences and any help you can offer.

 

I would assume even though I am equal distance from Chumphon and Ranong.... I still must go to Ranong?

You will be applying for an extension of stay based upon retirement a visa cannot be extended.

It should not be much different than any other office. You will need financial proof and copies of your passport pages and TM6 departure card. A completed TM7 application form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached. You will also need to proof of residence.

If you are living within Ranong province you have to apply at the office there.
