Three Months On , Three Cheers For Sonthi !

I realise this post may not last too long because someone

will post something inflammatory and it will be closed.

But

I was and am impressed with how the coup was handled

and how the country has continued to function since.

Nuff said

It did turn out ok, I'm impressed how stupid laws have been removed (well a few at least).

I still don't think that a coup was the best way to go about change, but it did draw attention to Thuksins lies and cons.

I just wish democracy could return quicker than the 1 year promise, (Although that is a good plan seeing as it will take time to educate the masses).

Cheers.

Wait and See after 1year before we make any snap judgements on if things are better or not. :o

Fair comment.

the coup had its benefits...

it showed thaksin for what he is...

it showed foreigners who were not here on the last coup that it really does happen...

and it opened up some people's eyes to the flaw's with some of the rules and laws that are blatantly stupid.

to be honest, i think they need a new constitution... one more modern and with goals set for progress rather than self preservation. thailand needs to grow up now, not try to keep everything the same.

the only way this is going to happen is with foreign investment. (really come on... its where the money is)

Sonthi for president
