Thai passport without entry stamp

Recommended Posts

My Thai wife and I are currently in siem reap for a little journey, and on the way to siem reap in the van she showed me her passport with no entry stamp in Cambodia. She has the exit stamp from Thai border but nothing else.

We crossed the border at aranyaprathet / poipet.

Is it normal ? Or is it really bad like we have to go to the police station right now ?

Or can we get back through airport immigration in 4 days with no problem ?

Check her Cambodian immigration card. If they processed her she'd have that stamped as well. At least it would be proof she passed through immigration.

if not, I'd get back on a bus and slip back into aranyaprathet heading straight for thai immigration. Pretend you've she's been at the casino or something

So, we've been first to the tourist police, then to the immigration police at the airport, and they told us to get back to poipet asap. So today we're going on a 7 hours trip to poipet and back to siem reap.

So the poipet border is a f***** Swiss cheese, smelly with holes all around.

And finally the Cambodian border police asked 1000 baht «tip»

Did they re-stamp the missing entry stamp or simply make some indication in the passport to confirm that she did enter the country legally previously?
