2. Non-immigrant B Not From My Country Of Residence?

Actually I have a Non-immigrant B Visa. This will run out beginning of January. I didn't work, but had some Education. As I will continue my Education for 6 more Month, after that I will start to work with a Workpermit, I want a new Non-immigrant B Visa for one year, multiple entries. I have the proper Paperwork for a new Visa, but I don't want to go back to Switzerland to aply. Just to cold there in the Moment and a long trip too. Rater I would prefer to visit some Friends in Australia and aply in Brisbane for my new Visa?

Can somebody in the known tell me if that is possible, or should I better send of a email to the Consulate there, do they answer emails? I don't want to wait two weeks, just to find out they will not answer

Until very recently, it used to be possible to VERY EASILY get a 1 year multiple B visa in Australia with complte documents prepared by Sunbelt, even if you're not Australian.

I'm not sure now with the current and sudden "strictness".

just take your phone and call there ... usually it´s the most easy thing to communicate.

Update: First I went to Kuala Lumpur for a 1 year Non Imi Ed. Visa. Company who is educating me told me, that should be possible. It's a hit and miss there, I did miss unfortunately. First Secretary would give me the visa, but I had to bring in more papers. Witch I did net next day, but got a different Secretary this time, who didn't want to give me more than a Tourist single entry.

After this I went to Brisbane (missing Songkran ) going for a Non Imi Ed. again, as some papers wheren't ready. Walkend in the Consulate and left it after 10 minutes with a 1 year Non Imi. O. Consulate in Brisbane opens 09:30 am. Was there 10:30. Was the only one. There was just a friendly Thai Secretary who did all the work. I highly recomend Brisbane. Something like Hull from Asia
