I am on a 1yr extension for marriage to a Thai. This is due to expire on 14th April. Due to work commitments, I have decided not to renew the 1yr extension this time, but I will need to use the 2month extension option for visiting a spouse. Can anyone clarify the paperwork requirements that I need to take to Phuket Immigration and which office area will this need to be processed? Thanks in advance.

You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies of your wife's house book registry and ID card.

I can't help you with which section of the office where it will be applied for.

Ok, thanks Joe, so I definitely don't need the cert from the amphur to verify I'm still married?

The Kor Ror 2 is not normally a requirement for the 60 day extension.

Just did mine, but it will vary at all Imms

1 x Application form ( note the change in photo size ) & you will also sign another 2 forms in Immi

1 x Passport & copy of all entries into Thailand & the usual main pg (only sign main pg )

1 x Copy of Blue Book ( or ect ) main pg & wifes name pg / wife to sign

1 x Copy of wife ID (front & back )

1 x Copy of Marriage cert ( did not worry about original ) & both sign

& i swear they will find something else as they did with me ie : Also wanted a copy of wifes name change
