someone I know was refused entry at Bkk airport-apparently on a "blacklist" for overstaying before----

I was told if he had the right phone number  i.e. an agency or someone in the know- and a significant amount of cash this could be "rectified"

and he would be allowed in-does this sound right-and how much are we talking here ?-20,000.00 -30,000.00Baht?--or more?

Try PM'ing the OP of that last link first. He said he had a contact in BKK who works with immigration police on the Malay border. 

 

Can't be 100% sure though as I haven't used it but perhaps someone who has will PM you, or try PMing guys in the first 2 links

Just one interesting point about @kohbar's report. His last post in that thread stated, most importantly

His last visit to TV was March 31, 2016. That is not definitive proof that he ran into further trouble, but he seemed very keen to crow about his cleverness.

He needs to hire a lawyer to clear the blacklist before coming.

No easy bribe his way in.
