Wife and a passing motorcyclist think this could be a young king cobra. Only about a foot long but don't want to take any chances.

I'd be more worried about the kids as they haven't yet learned to control their venom!

There should be more of them.

Are you sure? The eyes look rather big for a cobra and a lot of green on the tail.

That has me worried as well. The next day I caught another one same size as the first. One could come under the gate or over the fence but two in two days? It's been a couple of days now and no new sightings, hope it remains that way.
