Cambodian man arrested for murder of well-known Bangkok vegetable trader

SA KAEW: -- A Cambodian man is in custody after murdering a prominent woman in Bangkok and trying to cross the border to escape justice.

 

Arrested in Sa Kaew yesterday was a man named only as "Nai Tee" who is believed to be a former employee of Pornphan "Jae San" Saenprasit, 42, reported Manage.

 

Pornphan - the biggest vegetable trader at northern Bangkok's prominent Talat Thai market - was found stabbed to death at her home in Soi Thep Kunchorn, Klong Luang 1, Pathum Thani.

 

Police studied CCTV and found that "Nai Tee" had fled the scene and gone to the nearby Klong Luang Beauty Resort.

 

There he fooled staff into believing that he himself was being chased by someone trying to kill him.

 

He was given a lift on a motor-cycle to Future Park, Rangsit, where he boarded a bus heading towards the border.

 

He was arrested by Klong Luek station police when he got off the bus in Sa Kaew.

 

A press conference regarding the matter is set to be held today.

So did he kill her for sacking him or did he kill her because she didn't pay him his wages?

Fair play to the BIB though for catching him so swiftly.

He will get the same treatment as the six killers of the handicapped breadseller..................................

Maybe not, I don't think his dad is a copper.

There is of course another or, or two; or did kill her or did someone else kill her and we have another scapegoat.
