Cost of window film for a smart cab pickup pickupm

Featured Replies

I have a Nissan smart cab pick up  without window film.  I tought I could drive without it since its more safer in the dark. But after a few mounts I found out that I need to have some film on thh windows, its getting to hot ewen with the aircon on max. So I am thinking about 10 - 15% . Anyone know how much that will cost. Thank you

Hi Hansiver,

Window film will cost you anywhere from a few thousand baht to have put on, but don't expect it to last very long, just take a look at some of the cars driving around with all the bubbles between the film, right up to 30,000 baht+ for the so called high end film. I suggest you stick with a well know brand such as 3M, as most of these tints will come with a 5 to 7 year warranty. Go to a shop that specializes in fitting window tint where they apply it in a booth in a dust free environment, and stay away from the guy fitting it on the street  or the guy offering you a mighty deal in the Big C carpark. You do get what you pay for when it comes to window film. Just make sure you choose a tint that's going to block the UV. Darker doesn't always mean better. Google it and do your research.

Hope this has cleared up some of your questions

Cheers
