Unfortunately I can't use this "service" again because I moved from Lopburi to Chonburi province. How to get the tax sticker now in Chobburi? Is this a problem because I living in an other province? I know that road tax can be paid at Big C courtesy desks in Pattaya so check your local Big C for information. It can also be paid at your local Post Office. For that the car has to be shown up at one of the many licensed workshops. That has to be done before paying tax/compulsory insurance. Quote For getting an new tax sticker I need the insurance paper? No, you don't. If you refer to a complementary insurance that is completely independent. Many choices. Best is, you show up with the car at a test station/workshop and let them handle the paperwork for a (small) fee. Pickup tax sticker and get the car registration book ("blue book") returned a day later or so. Test stations have an easy to recognize cog wheel symbol: I bet there will be one or more in your area. Orac Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Do mine at DLT in Pattaya (behind Regent School on 36 before you get into Pattaya). Testing station one side of road then over the road to DLT on other side, insurance window to right from entrance then tax windows on left inside entrance (get ticket from counter as you go in). johng Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017 If you take it to a testing station with the cog wheel as shown in khunBENQ's post they can do everything for you,you just have to leave the blue book with them for a few days costs 200-300 baht extra for them to do all the running around. You only need to show that you have the minimum, compulsory insurance. When you buy this, there's a tear-off bottom part of the insurance document that is retained by the agency processing your tax payment and tax sticker issue.
