NAKHON RATCHASIMA: -- A poor Korat road sweeper was hailed as the latest honest Thai after she returned a wallet containing 100,000 baht to its owner yesterday.

It was all smiles as Sunan Ninkrathok received a 10,000 baht reward for her actions from surprised and delighted owner Nanthawat Chokphirmwongsa, reported Thai News Agency.

Nanthawat, a businessman who sells OTOP products in Nakon Ratchasima, said after he lost the wallet in the street on Friday he had given up hope of getting it back.

He thought it might have been washed down a drain in the rains.

That was until Sunan handed it into police who managed to trace the owner.

Nice to finally see someone handing over a reasonable sized reward to the one finding the lost stuff. Good on both of them.

How do you fit 100,000 thb into a wallet?  Mine looks like its about to give birth with just 20,000 in it.

Nope, once again i dont believe it. Another handing back ceremony. Is this a precursor to us reading about a road sweeper that threw his rubbish out of his bin, in the middle of nowhere, or threatened his rubbish with a knife, or, god forbid, tried to rape his rubbish!

Did a street sweeper somewhere hang a kitten live on Facebook or something?
