samtam
I note the new TM.8 Re-Entry Form has a new section... "My Previous visa for Thailand is of the category of..." My first visa was a Non-Immigrant "B" visa 10 years ago, since which time I have used "Extension of Stay" based on Retirement. Am I correct to cross the "Non-Immigrant" box, and if so, do I put in the Non-Immigrant visa issued 10 years ago, or do I provide the last "extension of stay" details? Additionally, the Photograph box states 4 x 6 cm, which far exceeds the box drawn on the form, (which is 3.3 cm x 4.3 cm). I had 4 x 6 cm photos made, which I will use unless anyone thinks better of that.
ubonjoe
You check the non immigrant box. And compete the issued at space showing where your non-b was issued. You need to use the 4 X 6 cm photos.
samtam
Is the "where the non-b" was issued the transferred over from the old passport stamp, not the previous non-b in the previous passport?
ubonjoe
Where you original non-b visa was issued long ago. It may be on the annotation stamp they did when you had your stamps transferred.
samtam
OK, thanks. Previously I have put the transferred date (from old to new passport) and issued at Immigration BKK, as opposed to the original non-b issued in Glasgow in 1999, and they seemed to be OK with that. also I had previously put the photo size of one that fits within the drawn box. But I will amend as you suggest on both counts.
ubonjoe
The photo size has always been 4 X 6 cm but it was only written in Thai before.
