Now that Expat TV is gone, can anybody recommend the next best alternative? Ideally not a streaming site and something resembling the format of Expat TV (i.e. a TV guide / schedule). I'd like the UK freeview channels. 

 

I heard that Kodi is an effective option, and apparently there is a company called Streamtopia that can set everything up for you. Does anyone know if this is still around?

@nsbkk right now we are limiting discussion of these services due to the current legal position.

 

Also note that sale/import of the boxes/sticks is now illegal (even without the software) unless a licence has been obtained.

There is an active Kodi discussion in the AV forum, I suggest a look there as a start. Also have a look through the locked threads in AV quite a few options to get your fix, some better than others.
