Re entry Non O without using a full page for a visa

Featured Replies

i have a Non o Multiple entry extension,As my passport is getting low what crossings if any don't put those stupid one page visa's in,as far as I know only Siam Reap and Phnom penh in Cambodia do the E visa, which is a stamp on arrival, anywhere else?

Thanks

Your post doesn't make much sense. If you have a multiple entry non-immigrant visa, and want to exit/re-enter for a new 90 day permit to stay, you could do it at the Kanchanaburi crossing at Ban Phu Nam Ron.

You pay 950 baht which covers the cost of the transport across no mans land and back. No visa needed and you just get exit/entry stamps for both countries.

Not sure what a "Non o Multiple entry extension" is but anyway Malaysia and Singapore will only add a couple of small stamps (no visa if you are from a civilised country) or otherwise try the UK (bit further) who will add no stamps at all.  Might be a good time to get a new passport?

A few thoughts here.

1. If you have been reporting to Imm' every 90 days you have an extension, not a visa, trust me.

2. Did you get the visa outside Thailand and where and when?

3. What was the reason you gave to get the visa/extension of stay?

4. Are you married, retired or parent of a child in Thailand?

These questions may seem intrusive but the answers are important, honestly.

Edit.

Get a new passport ASAP.

I assume you are on a 90 day entry from a multiple entry non-o visa.

The Poi Pet and Koh Kong crossings also accept e-visas. See: https://www.evisa.gov.kh/information/port_entry/3

As said the Ban Phu Nam Ron crossing to Myanmar is a good choice.

That doesn't seem true to me.

By example if someone has a O-A visa, he must make 90Days reports.

So I will not trust you in the future...

As the OP quoted multi O (and not OA) my statement reflects that.

In the future I will not trust your understanding.

Yeah sorry,I have a one year Non O,it's a multiple entry issued at Savannakhet in laos,(married to a Thai),I live in Bangkok and thought that if I did a visa run,I would be giving a full page Visa for entering Cambodia as per visa run,I was hoping for a stamp rather than using a full page.

If Kanchanaburi could I walk in and back out same day?

You can do the crossing, get stamped in and out of Myanmar, turnaround and come right back.

You would not be walking across. The 950 baht includes transport across no mans land and back. It also includes 500 baht for a Myanmar border pass.

This place is the nearest crossing to me BAN LAEM/CAMBODIA,but when I first came 3 years ago,I had a triple entry tourist visa, and I got a full page visa for staying an hour

Ban Laem does not accept Cambodia e-visas. You have to get Cambodia visa on arrival that is full page sticker.

Note that Poipet also has been unfriendly to people doing in/outs on Multiple-Entry Non-O Visas.  So, if you want to use Cambodia w/ e-visa, it's either Koh Kong or the PP or Siem Reap airports.

Another option would be an in/out by air to Kuala Lumpur (no visa required). Sometimes, especially if the flights are booked well in advance, this can be a pretty inexpensive and relaxing solution.
