Photo: Edgar Su/Reuters BANGKOK: -- GrabCar has recently introduced the “extra stop” button, so you’ll have to make a proper booking and pay an extra fee if you want to drop your friends off on the way. With the introduction of the new function, the ride sharing app announced on its website that passengers cannot spontaneously ask their drivers to add another destination or stop on the way. GrabCar allows up to two stops per ride, and the fares will be calculated based on distance. Once you make a booking, stops cannot be switched or changed. klauskunkel
what about snack stops? They are sudden, unplanned and part of the driving culture..., surely they don't count?!
Telly
What rubbish. Grab sold rider a cheap trip base on point a to b. From the start they charged riders additional for every point. It's after riders make complaints about being charged extra, but legitimate, that grab is forced to be more transparent. Instead of riders thinking drivers were charging them extra illegally
