Agent Orange is a nasty herbicide. It is so bad that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) finally decided to provide healthcare and disability benefits to veterans who were exposed to it during their tour(s) in Vietnam.

Maybe you meant it also covers members who had tours on Thailand bases during the Vietnam War period.   Appears a person needed to have a job that placed them on the perimeters of the Thai bases....I guess Agent Orange was used to kill off vegetation at the base perimeter.  I served at three of the Thai bases during the designated period but my job was not at the perimeter of the bases....more along the inner flightlines/aircraft maintenance facilities located a fair distance from the base perimeter.
