PATTAYA: -- The governor of Chonburi has ordered heightened security in Pattaya and other areas in the province after the hospital bombing outrage on Monday.

Many people were injured in a waiting room at the Pramongkutklao Hospital after a reported nail bomb exploded.

Governor Pakrathorn Thienchai issued an emergency directive urging the utmost awareness and caution to district chiefs, municipal leaders, the Pattaya mayor, police and soldiers.

He ordered heightened security and vigilance to be in place at tourist sites, department stores, shopping centers, ports and religious sites in the province.

He also called on all relevant CCTV to be checked to make sure that it was in working order and ordered lighting to be checked in key areas, reported Sophon Cable TV on Facebook.

Directives are in place throughout the country following the blast that was the third in recent days in the capital.

Like a lot of things here, a stage managed photo shoot.

When have you ever seen a senior policeman doing bag searches?

When it's a woman suspect.

Does all this mean we will see two more police on duty after dark?

Ever since 9/11 the "their everywhere" mentality has sprung up and taken root. These 19 "Saudis" will never realize the everlasting havoc that they have created in the world.
