Lower Northeast sees 460 cases of dengue fever in 5 months

BANGKOK: -- There have been 460 cases of dengue fever in the lower Northeast this year, a senior public health official said on Thursday. None have proved fatal.

 

Dr Thirawat Walaisathien, director of the Disease Prevention and Control Office for Region 9, announced the cases confirmed between January 1 and May 24.

 

There were 196 instances in Nakhon Ratchasima, 33 in Chaiyaphum, 59 in Buri Ram and 176 in Surin.

With all the wonderful "Farang" influence exerting it's wonderful cultural "sharing" in Thailand, the country remains, according to these cultural assessments (above comments) "uncivilized". How could that be with all the wonderful people from "civilized" Europe coming over to "share" wonderful culture with the Thai people?
