MJKT2014
I am returning to my home in Bangkok early next year from the provinces upcountry. Previously I did 90 day reports by post in Bangkok after the internet method stopped. Can I continue with that and include a TM28 to account for address change to Bangkok or must it be done in person at Chaeng Wattana please? elviajero
There is no reason why you can't do it by post. Make sure you send it by recorded delivery and include a stamped return envelope. Don't send it more than 15 days before the 90 day report is. If you don't receive a receipt for the reports after a couple of weeks you'll need to call them or go to the office. I am worried about "requirement" for change of address notifications (TM28?) to be made within 48 hours (?), so using post may not meet that requirement even tho its OK for 90 day reports. Wondering if anyone has any real experience. Anything to avoid a long trip to Chaeng Wattana that takes up most of my day.
