PATTAYA: -- Following a three month delay to pipe laying in the Pornprapanimit Road area the project has now resumed and is back on track.

In fact the contractors are saying the project could even be finished ahead of time.

The project was stalled when another pipe was found to be in the way and this needed to be rerouted, reported Pattaya News.

The details about his have now been sorted out and the Nong Preu authorities have pressed the contractors to make up for lost time and press on with the laying of new pipes.

The authorities said that it is hoped that the work will still be finished according to the details laid out in the original contracts that stated December for completion.

However the contractors have stated that their hope is that the work could be completed as early as September now that the obstacles have been worked out.

After a 3 month delay & it can still be finished on time?  It suggests a very generous time allowance or they're hiring foreign workers.

While digging they discovered another pipe that was in the way. Too funny. Little planning and no record

keeping of past infrastructure projects.
