May 31, 20179 yr Can anyone confirm if it is a requirement to hold a passport with more than six months' validity in order to enter Thailand as a tourist on a 30 day waiver? Just trying to juggle dates and my daughter's passport expires in October. So wold like to come for holiday in July, return to our home in China and then apply for new passport. Any help greatly appreciated. G

For those from most countries that are eligible for a 30 day visa exempt entry only needs passport validity for their length of stay. Edit: You can enter your info here to check if you can enter the country. https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/#input
May 31, 20179 yr The airline you travel on may insist on you having six months validity but can likely get around that by signing a waiver stating that you will pay for your return flight if denied entry upon arrival. Depends on the airline and maybe even on the day. But I am speaking from experience as it happened to me.
May 31, 20179 yr Author Hey thanks for the help. I think the problem will be with the airlines. No worries. We'll see how we can work around it if at all possible. 24 minutes ago, ubonjoe said: Edit: You can enter your info here to check if you can enter the country. https://skyteam.traveldoc.aero/#input Thanks Joe a great link.
