TAT to organize Thailand Travel Mart 2018 on Samui island

SURAT THANI, 6 June 2017 (NNT) - The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association and members of the private sector will be co-organizing the Thailand Travel Mart 2018 event to promote tourism on Samui island.

Mr. Thanet Phetsuwan, Deputy Governor of European Marketing Division, TAT, chaired a meeting in preparation of the Thailand Travel Mart 2018 (TTM 2018) event at Nora Buri Resort & Spa on Samui island, in cooperation with members of the private sector.

The event was planned in response to the government's policy to promote tourism in each community and to support entrepreneurs with business matching opportunities.

Operators of hotels, resorts, travel agencies and entertainment venues from Samui, Pha Ngan and Tao islands have been invited to participate in the event, which is expected to raise billions in revenues for Thai tourism.

Good choice of resort, not too far from the airport, so won't see the traffic problems and poor state of the roads.

I do not think they will be able to hide the smell of the rotting rubbish dumps.
