Which hospital and doctor in BKK would be best for a knee replacement for a Thai family member?  Anyone have recent experience?  I am guessing that there is one govt hospital that has a lot of experience doing them.

To have this done for free, it has to be done at either the hospital where the family member is registered or a higher level one that it refers to.

 

Otherwise they will have to pay full price out of pocket, which is well worth avoiding.

 

In case the hospital they are registered at has to refer them elsewhere, could try asking for referral to Lerdsin which is especially good for ortho. But really any large tertiary government hospital can do this.
