PATTAYA: -- Pattaya police have said that a bullet that took out the front window of the Ducati shop was not connected to a business conflict against the big bike firm.

Police were investigating at the scene of the shooting yesterday in Pattaya Klang Road where they found a bullet embedded in the ceiling inside the showroom.

Glass from the shattered shop front was all over the sidewalk.

Witnesses said that the shooting happened when four men on two motorbikes rode down along towards Sukhumvit Road.

A shot had earlier rang out outside Bangkok Bank. The second shot entered the showroom of Ducati after it ricocheted.

Temtrong Rotsiri of Pattaya police investigating said that CCTV was being studied to get a lead.

She said that police did not know yet about the reason for the shots but that the evidence so far showed that it had nothing to do with a problem directed against Ducati.

Cracking witnesses!  If the 4 men were riding towards Sukhumvit Road, they would be riding up, not down.

Just an observation
