samtam
I subscribe to True Online with a 30 Mbps. With local sites using testmy.net I get about 18-20 Mbps. With international sites (e.g. UK) for Android streaming it can vary enormously, depending on the time of day. As I generally watch TV at night, the last couple of nights it has only been 1.5-2 Mbps, which obviously negatively impacts on the stream. Do others suffer from the same low speeds and poor streaming with True? Any other better high speed providers for streaming that can be recommended? shady86
20Mbps is quite slow for local sites. You should call true to check your lineSent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
samtam
Yes, I have spoken to True several times and await their response, which is not very forthcoming. I understand international downloads will not be as fast as Bangkok ones, but when Bangkok only produces 18-20 Mbps instead of the 30 Mbps I'm supposed to get, I think there's a problem. KhunBENQ
What does True's own test configuration show for Thailand: http://speedtest.trueinternet.co.th/ This is the only value they will discuss about. Complaining about international speeds might end in nowhere land. I am on ToT fiber and the True test shows this: Download Speed: 47393 kbps (5924.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 24580 kbps (3072.5 KB/sec transfer rate) The ToT speed test shows about the same numbers. If you don't get about 30000 kbps on this test you can complain.
samtam
Your link gives me: 'This text is replaced by the Flash movie." and this one is blank. I have just had a call from True and I tested using Ookla and download was 32 Mbps for Bangkok. 19 Mpbs for Dallas, TX. So there's an improvement to last night's tests, but I think maybe night time is worse because of more usage.

samtam
What are you supposed to get from 3BB? Do you have 1) fibre cable, 2) fibre optic cable, 3) ADSL?

samtam
I use fibre, so this could be a good replacement for True, as you seem to get good speeds, albeit variable. What do you pay per month for that package?
7000gods
It is included in my condo rental..
coops
Our AIS fibre on the 100/10 package, tests at 100+\- and 10 to 11 up, so as specified to a Bangkok server using Ookla... A google fibre test from my ipad gave a very decent speed to Atlanta, USA of 51.8 / 9.6. I'd be giving True a call about it... as we did before when we were on True... but happily ditched them for AIS Edited June 12, 2017 by coops

Something for another thread Both work for me. Depends on browser/settings. Guess you have Chrome and/or some "net nanny" SW? Simply killing Adobe Flash is not the final solution.
