Following the government policy of “Thailand 4.0”, the MFA decided to gather prominent Thai products and services and feature them on a website called ThailandPresents.com, to make it easy for consumers to search for and purchase Thai products in one place online. The website is user-friendly and offers a wide range of Thai products and services, ranging from organic products, health and wellness products, art and craft products, food products, and Thai hospitality/services, to products involved in R&D and technology. The website is available in three languages: Thai, English, and Chinese. A parallel project is going to install Touch-Screen Kiosks in the offices of Thailand’s foreign missions across the world. This is to promote information regarding Thai-made items created exclusively by Thai designers. The MFA project aims to boost both the trade and investment sectors, as well as to help expand promotional channels and target shoppers interested in the products of SME entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs who want their items to be displayed on the website, which is a free service, can make direct contact via the “Ask us” button. -- nnt 2017-06-18
