Police in London have launched an investigation after four ambulances were set on fire in what officers are treating as a suspected antisemitic hate crime. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday in Golders Green, an area known for its large Jewish community. Emergency services were called at around 01:45 GMT, with both police and fire crews responding to the scene. Officers said the attack is being treated as an antisemitic hate crime due to the nature of the target. Supt Sarah Jackson, who oversees policing in the area, said the incident was likely to cause significant concern within the local community. “We know this incident will cause a great deal of community concern and officers remain on scene to carry out urgent enquiries,” she said.
