90 days expires on a Sunday

Featured Replies

The following day (Monday) is a public holiday. Can I leave reporting till the Tuesday or do I have to go in 3 days early?

You can do reports of staying longer than 90 days in the country up to 15 days early or 7 days after the report date including that day in the count.

Or are you asking about getting a new entry from a visa or applying for an extension of stay?

The date shown is when you will have been in the country for 90 days following your last report regardless of whether it's on the weekend or a holiday. You have roughly a three week window, 15 days early or 7 days past that 90 day mark, to do the report.

Probably less of a crowd at the immigration office if you do it before a long weekend rather than following it.

Why not mail it in?  Then no need to go anywhere.  Chaeng Wattana requests that you mail it 15 days before you 90-day report date.  Not sure if you're in Bangkok or not.  There are complete mailing instructions on TV if you search for them.

Why not mail it in? If it expires this Sunday, that window is already closed. We find that early after lunch is never busy in our area.  Mornings can be real busy in many offices.

This Monday coming  26/06/2017 is not a holiday. The OP is not talking about this weekend. The next holiday on a Monday is 10/07/2017. If this is the date he was talking about he would have time to mail it in.

Sorry 'bout that.  Never noticed or think about it. Out in the sticks here every day is the same.  People work every day they want to and most work every day!!!   Sometimes we might want to go to a bank or an Amphur office & find it closed.  Memo to self.  Do not plan any banking on 10 July.
