Need an up to date on border. Price for cambodian visa, can one pay in dollars?  Last time payed 1100bt at first window and 500bt second window but heard the 500bt not nescerry. Anyone know?

After a couple hours at casino back to thailand. First land border visa exempt this year should be no problem.

Leaving beginning next week hope someone can clear this up

The visa will cost you 1500 Bath. Pay one time at one window.

It is significantly cheaper if you pay USD for your Cambodian Visa.  The 2nd 500 Baht may have been to permit a same-day return (usually only 300 Baht), though I would have expected this to be charged upon exit.  Some Cambodian borders push for "extra money" for a Visa-On-Arrival (100 Baht works at Poipet), but this is the first I have heard of a charge at the window where you stamp-in to Cambodia.

I just (last Sunday) went to SR through this border.

First window on the Cambodian side you have to fill in a form and pay 1500 THB to get your Cambodia TR visa. Then move to the next window and fill in arrival and departure form, you have to pay again 300 THB (what for no idea) and you will be fingerprinted (both hands) and have your picture taken.

Then they will stamp you in for 30 days. Upon leaving the border there is a checkpoint which just checks if you have the visa and the entry stamp.

I didn't try to pay in USD as I didn't have any, but I think you can try.
