I know it's not standard practice here, but I would like to have a car checked at a proper car repair center before I buy it (both to make sure it didn't have any major crashes, as well as to get an idea about repairs that will be needed in near future). Kwasaki Posted June 28, 2017 Share Posted June 28, 2017 Google search would be best. Difficult if it's an old car, maybe better if recent less than 3 years. You can get independent companies to check cars over at the used dealer and at owners houses, not sure how that would work out. Maybe telephone the previous owner if buying from a dealer.
