Assets worth Bt1.29-bn seized in NSB drug raids

BANGKOK: -- Anti-narcotics police have frozen assets worth Bt1.29 billion on suspicion that they are ill-gotten gains from the drug trade.

 

The Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) also announced on Wednesday that it had successfully arrested drug suspects in 345 drug cases between October 1 last year and May 1 this year. 

 

Over the period, 60.62 million methamphetamine tablets, 117.21 kilograms of crystal meth-amphetamine, 39.16 kilograms of heroin, and more than two tonnes of dry marijuana have been confiscated, the bureau said.

Good well done the NSB!!....a hit now and then on the scum who sell drugs is always worth it...and the revenue seized could be used to improve public facilities of the Police or the Immigration offices!?
