Forty six year old Prithat Phoonphon was found dead in bed on the 35th floor of Jamjuree Square. He had shot himself in the temple. Prithat was acting as project manager and had a keen interest in motor racing. But a representative of Grand Eastern Co Ltd who are building the facility said that his suicide will not affect operations that are going ahead as planned. Manager reported that the plans for the park were already two months behind schedule. The company said that building would probably start either in August or September.
