Extension 30-day Tourist Visa

Hi there, I have a question regarding the extension of a 30-day tourist Visa. I know you can extend the 30-day visa with another 30-days by going to immigration and pay 1.900THB. But what I don't know is when will the extension start? At then end of the previous 30-days, or at the day you request for the extension..?

 

Example. Our current Tourist Visa is valid until August 7th, we want to extend because our flight back to Europe is on August 22nd. If I would go to immigration tomorrow on July 17th, what will then be the new end-date of the visa? Will it be July 17th+30 days or August 7th+30-days..?

There are no 30 day tourist visas. If you mean to ask about a visa exempt entry then they can be extended. The extension starts at the end of the 30 day stay granted on entry.
