TRANG: -- A Trang school director has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a student’s mother in a school washroom.
 

Police early Thursday arrested Winij Akkarasuwankul, 53, director of Ban Nong Kla School in Moo 7 village in Tambon Khao Wiset. He is charged with killing Ladda Jindakaew, 33.

 

Police believe the schoolmaster had had an intimate relationship with the victim.

 

Ladda had taken her son to play football at the school on Monday afternoon and was later found strangled to death in the restroom. She’d also sustained head injuries. 

 

The murder left teachers and students terrified.

 

Police said a CCTV surveillance camera recorded Winij and Ladda in what appeared to be a close relationship. Winij’s mobile phone showed that he contacted the woman often.

 

Police are seeking court permission to detain the director while the investigation continues.

Trang–A school director in Wang Wiset district of this southern province has been arrested for the murder of a woman at his school on July 24, police said.

 

The police arrested Winij Akrasuwan, director of Ban Nong Khla School in Tambon Khao Wiset, at 3am on Thursday (July 27) after inquiring about 10 witnesses and inspecting footage from CCTV camera.

 

The investigation result pointed to the director as the prime suspect, police said. The woman, Ladda Jindakaew, 33, was found dead inside a school toilet on July 24 evening.

Yeah.  There could be some child issue involved here.  Then mother threatening or blackmailing the teacher.  Or not.  I trust the messages and phone conversations will be available.   Or the mother is with child and  the teacher wanted none of that, would lose his job, his marriage, etc.  Lots of possibilities

I would guess not, but as this is a Thai forum and these incidents occur all too frequently, I think it was a valid comment.

I did read the article but stand by what I wrote. What you quoted in no way clears up my doubts.
