Skin rush

Featured Replies

I have a red rush on one leg. No itching, no pain, no swelling. But it does not change the color. It is now over one month.

Anyone had the similar symptoms?

Do you sit with your legs crossed by any chance?

Looks like eczema to me.  Something in your pocket maybe!  You should see a doctor who will probably give you a corticosteroid cream.

Judging by the apparent dry skin I would agree with the above eczema suggestion.

Seek professional medical advice.

I had a similar thing though alot smaller, applied the steroid cream and gone in a week.

no, normal sitting.

The red skin is getting now lighter but larger...

No itching

Unlikely to be eczema in my non medical opinion - it is almost always very itchy.

Edit:  Would suggest you visit a hospital dermatologist for evaluation - normally such visits are not expensive.

Yes it is a bit surprising there is no itching.  Chronic eczema is less itchy, but you would still be scratching.

Went today to a hospital dermatologist for evaluation. It's no eczema, nor insect bite, nor allergy. They all cause itching, which I don't have.

It is quite common in Thailand.

She prescribed me a ‘Nano silver hydrosol water based’ gel, name ‘ASAP’ and a repair Cream ‘Cicalfate’. (Made in Thailand)

If it persist, come back in 4 weeks.... Hope it helps.

Anybody know and used this cream?

Good question. I don't see any written diagnosis. Only how to apply the medicine and the receipt, total 1,865.00 baht

Receipts normally do not include a diagnosis here - you have to request a medical certificate each visit to be sure to get that.
