Worm castings, any good as fertilizer? Got giant ones round the back, one today 9 inches tall. Collecting them up for experiments.

They make a great fertilizer and soil enhancer for thin or poor soils.

Castings are biologically active as well which helps with plant immunity. Compost worms are worms that live near the surface as opposed to worms that live deeper in the soil. The large worms live at depth and are not used in worm farming normally. Plenty of information on this site and on the net.
