This isn't the extensions but the normal 90 day border runs. I have just learned our spouses or property owner has to report our presence in person every 90 days. My wife got fined 1600. Initial entry into Thailand, 3 border runs, and no mention of this. Local police know I'm here.

What was your wife doing at immigration if you have a multi-entry O visa and have been exiting the country  every 90 days? 

Some immigration offices want a TM30 report done every time you leave and re-enter the country.

Others only want one if you change addresses. Some never ask for one.

Thanks Joe, he asked my wife what she does. She told him she tapped for rubber. He asks if I help. She says visa says no work. He says I can help and he'll look the other way. I thought yeah, and my old mans a kipper. 555
