Can anyone tell me if this service is running still and how much do they charge.

 

Also has anyone used this service and what times are the ferry's.

 

I normally use the mini bus taxi which can take over 6 hours.

 

At the moment i am planning a holiday with my wife, so looking at options

Yes you can get air condition speed boat. It takes 2 hours time. Economy class 1000+ bhat and Business class 1400+ bhat.

Yes very good we took the ferry this week. Would recommend the business class well worth the extra.

Is it still passenger only or can you get a bike on now?

If you mean bicycle then maybe, if you remove the wheels and put it in a big bag should have no problem.

 

If you mean motorbike, then never. I have been on this ferry, there are no facilities for carrying motorised vehicles.

What do you get for the extra Baht?

 

I travelled normal class, lots of room, seats were OK for the short journey and only about 20% full.

There were suppose to be two more boats, ROYAL TWO and ROYAL THREE to be used on this route..............do not know if they  are being used.....any one KNOW if they are??
