PHUKET:-- The driver of a cement truck driver who fled the scene of an accident that left a 31-year-old woman dead and her three-year-old son badly injured has been charged with reckless driving causing death after surrendering to police on the same day the accident took place.

Myanmar pledges to provide legal protection for domestic workers abroad

The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population of Myanmar has pledged to legalize the status of Myanmar housemaids working abroad without proper documentation in order to provide them with legal protection, The Irrawaddy Online reported on Thursday (Aug 10).

US rescuers prepare for retrieval of Thai students’ bodies from river

World's oldest man, Holocaust survivor, dies in Israel aged 113

Prawit: military personnels allegedly involved in abduction won’t be protected
